Could just be a young lady enjoying her youth.

My youngest is a similar age - studying and working part time. Even if she was working full time she'd be struggling to pay rent, bills and go out on the town. And I've said as much before here: if my mum regularly said to me
"My sponsors are sending me all expenses to some far flung exotic place to swan about for a few days/weeks. Wanna come?"
My reply would be an emphatic:
"Uh huh!"
