Many thanks 20b .....another week of lovely caps of Kath. She is not easy to cap while standing behind that desk .....lack of angles, particularly when there are no interviews in the studio! But of course it is the nuances of Kath's face where you excel and always capture them perfectly! When behind that standing-desk, Kath continues to remove her shoes (placed next to the desk). Initially I thought the reason was that three hours standing in heels would be too uncomfortable. But maybe the desk height is not adjustable and is too low for Kath (in heels) as she is much taller than most of the ABC female presenters. Consequently she would be equally uncomfortable having to stoop down for the entire program?

Your usual fabulous selection of caps 20b, but from only two appearances a week which is hardly fitting for the ABC's most talented presenter. Although Kath's profile states that she is a full-time employee, I am starting to have my doubts. Kath has been used as the ABC's "Girl Friday" for the last few years, her versatility allowing her to fill-in multiple roles, but those opportunities appear to have dried up? Presently she is working a lot less hours than any other of the regular newsreaders (just Th/Fri). Frustratingly the ABC can't find a clear cut role for one of their most energetic and engaging presenters. When I see various roles being invented for "celebrities" like Tony Armstrong and Catherine Murphy, and trained journalists like Kath being left without a substantive position, I really do wonder where her ABC career is meandering to ....?
