Cheers 20b .... well spotted! After all this time you still manage to produce great caps of our lovely Kath. #4 .... class, elegance, enigmatic. As predicted, she is having to make up some hours by pinch-hitting some News reading duties. And, although NSW News deprives her of national viewers, at least it is primetime and probably reaches more viewers than national Ch 24? However, there is only so much filling-in available, as the ABC's harem of News readers, mostly women employed on a part-time basis, are all wanting more work. The ABC News desks look like an elaborate game of moving chairs, and with the fate of Ch 24 in particular yet to be fully revealed, the ABC must be an anxious workplace. Kath had a rough trot last year, inexplicably "losing" her hosting of The Business, and then watching her hopes for The Drum suddenly evaporate. Please ABC .... no more kicks in the guts for Kath!

Cheers 20b .... many thanks for this week's caps. She is such a glamorous woman ....I have always loved her hair and she still is constantly modifying her hairstyles, although probably not as varied as in the past. Kath has not cut her hair shorter for a few years, and I used to like the variation of putting her hair up (in a bun or a ponytail) ......20b I know you are not a fan of this! However, putting her hair up highlights Kath's perfect cheek-bones and forehead, as well as focussing on her mesmerizing eyes. We learnt today that Kath has dodgy knees (arthritis?) .... this would explain why those slightly knobbly knees have only been occasionally glimpsed and why Kath continues to wear skirts covering them. There's that vanity again....! Exercise and diet will help to mitigate this condition, but Kath you know that! She may have knobbly knees (and slightly beefy upper arms, which she also covers up), but Kath's desirability as a woman remains undiminished!

Thanks 20b, and certainly "fetching" Zygon. As usual, 20b manages to capture the absolute essence of Kathryn's beauty ....you can read so much into the mystical expressions (#3) that Kath projects. She is a mistress of intrigue with a subtle sensuality all of her own. Next week's Weekend Breakfast, has Johanna Nicholson scheduled to join Kath at the desk .... clearly back from maternity leave (and Jared will return as sports presenter (and as the token male on the show). The plot thickens ..... why has Fauziah disappeared again ? Is it to attend her ageing mother as per last year and will she return, because three presenters does not fit neatly into two presenting roles !!!

Cheers 20b. Poor Kath, she looked so tired today. After attending last night's Taylor Swift performance, she must only have had a couple of hours sleep ....at times she had trouble fully opening her eyes! The fact that Kath turned up (like the professional that she is), and didn't call for a fill-in, indicates the nervous tension that must exist at the ABC around hanging on to your position. So Johanna returning next week will be very interesting ...... Weekend Breakfast is so dependent on each presenters' personality, as it is threadbare in resources and essentially relies on talking heads. And the one presenter they need to preserve is Kath, if only for the reason that she has the ability to work with anyone, and bring the best out of her co-host. More importantly, she provides the fun, energy and left-field spice for the program!
