Another great set of caps 20b. Kath much more exuberant from the start last Sunday .... sombre mood down to first day back blues? Sad and beautiful is always alluring and fascinating, but I prefer Kath when she is full of energy ... being her bright, interesting and fun-filled self. It's going to be an exasperating year if all we see of Kath this year is her weekend appearances. Interestingly, this weekend, Dan Bourchier is down to co-host with Kath .... not sure if that has happened before? She had better wear her stilettos because alongside Dan everyone looks small!

Zygon, I could be wrong but the white, double-slit skirt that Kath has been wearing recently, suspiciously looks like leather to me .... the folds in the skirt are very leather-like? I hope 20b or someone is capping today's Weekend Breakfast .... the interview with Celia Pacquola is the first I have seen with Kath out of the studio since pre Covid times and was hilarious!

Cheers 20b, you're a stalwart! Kath was back to her beaming, gorgeous self this weekend. On Saturday we learnt that her "Rabbit" horoscope (Chinese zodiac), predicted a bright year ahead .... let's hope this translates into more diverse work fortunes, because two sessions of WB doesn't add up to a full-time job by my reckoning! But Sunday's program may be pointing the way forward ..... the Celia Pacquola interview reminded me that Kath should be given another go at hosting "One Plus One". She is an entertaining and excellent interviewer, but in the only series she presented (in 2019), she appeared constrained .... probably doing what she was told! Whatever the ABC has planned for Kath, they need to let her have free rein and be herself, as she is one of the most natural and engaging personalities on the ABC, or Australian TV for that matter! Such a program could help fill the gapping chasm left by axing "The Drum" and presently being filled by endless repeats!
