Well done 20b .... your usual delightful images of our lovely Kath. She is giving that new double-slit skirt a good workout, reminding us that she still has fabulous legs ..... a welcome respite from slacks and pant suits. Kath was in one of her irresistible moods today. I love her effervescent and entertaining banter, something presenters need in their armoury if they are to sustain an audience in an era where people are turning off traditional media sources. I'm sure the ABC realises that Kath brings entertainment in spades to the program. She has always been the total package ... intelligent and smart (they are different), quick-witted and articulate, and funny with a devilish sense of humour. But of all the many strings to her bow, Kath's naturalness is her greatest asset .... although she's not bad to look at either!

Well spotted 20b ....your caps of Kath continue to delight. The one good thing about her news reading .....it offers you many angles to explore! Kath's fuller figure is on display in these images, which has now ticked over into the voluptuous category .....but what an oh so beautiful iteration it is! She must have been very disappointed at the demise of The Drum .....a presenter role that I'm sure she coveted and which suited her as a serious journalist. The ABC appears to be dumbing down (and cutting) programs in the pursuit of younger audiences. What roles are coming Kath's way in the new year? Presumably she will still be hosting WB .... has Johanna had her baby as normally woman return within 6 months? Clearly Kath could go back to reading news on Ch 24, although there appears to be too many women vying for too few jobs in this arena! But I don't think this is enough for such a talented journalist and presenter .... the ABC really needs to find a suitably challenging niche that she is happy with. Otherwise she could join the growing line of dissatisfied women leaving the ABC.

Seasons Greetings 20b! Thanks for your tireless efforts last year with your capping of our lovely Kath. Watching the holiday fill-in combinations struggling to develop a working rapport makes you appreciate Kath's presentation skills .... like her timing and inherent ability to provide entertaining banter and frivolous fun. And she always brings the best out of any co-host she is working with .... Kath really is the glue that holds WB together! I noticed you missed capping Kath's last "Drum" appearance .... as you did her last "Business" appearance (you weren't to know!). However they say disasters come in threes, so I hope this theme doesn't extend to become Kath's last appearance on WB (also missed)? The turmoil at the ABC is making me somewhat apprehensive about whether Kath will be returning to WB. Ruby Cornish announced that the team would be back next weekend .... but the "team" scheduled is Fauziah and Celina Edmonds! The ABC usually announces the new year's line-up of presenters in the last week of January .... it would be very disappointing if Kath is not continuing to co-host WB.

Thanks 20b. Mate you have a knack of capturing Kath's wonderfully expressive face .... must be all the practice! After an extended absence I am always struck by how beautiful she remains, although this time those lovely soulful eyes appeared somewhat saddened. In fact for most of the program, Kath seemed tired and uncharacteristically lacking energy (instead of being refreshed!) .... certainly not her usual effervescent self, and only occasionally did that gorgeous, melting smile emerge. It really did look like there was a dark cloud over her head .... I've noticed this with Kath from time to time. I know her husband has ongoing health problems .... so that may be a possible explanation? I hope this gloomy mood is not a sign of thwarted career ambition relating to the ridiculous ABC decision to axe "The Drum". I completely emphasise with Kath's disappointment and frustration with that announcement ..... there are only a few serious presenter/journalist roles at the ABC, and clearly this was one that she dearly loved. Maybe first day back at work has brought everything back into perspective ..... I don't like to see Kath looking sombre, so hopefully she will perk up tomorrow.
