Many thanks 20b for your usual well chosen images of Kath over the last week. Having Shaun Micallef on Sunday's WB must have been like confronting past ghosts for Kath. She mentioned that it is about 10 years since she last interviewed him, when he single-handedly destroyed the Ch 10 Breakfast Show.... which hastened the program's demise and temporarily derailed her career. The only time I have ever seen Kath fuming with anger as the program spiralled out of control. Moral of the tale : never work live with children or animals.... or Shaun Micallef!

Cheers 20b. Not sure what is going on with Kath going AWOL on two occasions on Sunday WB over the last few weeks, with replacements hurriedly being bought in at the last minute. This is out of character as Kath is a consummate professional presenter.... it's usually Kath doing the filling-in! This weekend she once again hosted the Friday night "Drum".... has this become a permanent role? Perhaps Kath prefers her Mon - Fri freed up, and her working week squashed into three days.... or is it proving too hectic? On Sat WB, Kath appears happy, funny and her usual vivacious self, captured so well by 20b's expressive images, so these absences are a mystery.

I swear some of these Wineman posts are the digital equivalent of finding pages of a porn mag stuck together...

20b, thanks for the lovely expressive caps of Kath over the last fortnight.... excellent as always. A new glamour image of Kath popped up a few months ago associated with Linkedin. Her profile lists her work experience: 'employed full-time at the ABC from 2015 to the present (8 years 5 months)"..... which coincides exactly when she vacated (?) The Business, and the resultant tweet about taking 6 months leave. Clearly Kath was in a state of panic and apprehension concerning her job prospects, particularly with the ABC staff cuts pending at that time. Poor Kath....to suddenly put herself on Linkedin advertising her job credentials demonstrates how distressed and vulnerable she must have felt. No wonder she looks so comfortable and happy as the principal host of WB at present, with Fauziah and Johanna missing .... but I do wonder what will happen to her when they both return? She appears to lead a precarious existence at the ABC. More positively, Kath has been presenting The Drum more regularly of late (she needs to be permanent!), and is on hosting duties once again tonight.
