I kinda don't blame her in a way, she had a good what 7-8 years under the Aunty regime of no advertising, which is a massive part of gaming. Just making up for lost time. Besides, everyone's gotta pay the bills, and especially if screenplay doesn't last the foreseeable future, these sort of things can help. Commercial channels are even less likely to put $$ into a show that doesn't perform than one that used the show's niche to warrant govt funding. However the fact they got moved to prime time can only be a good thing

Any female TV presenter who doesn't flaunt her body in the name of 'career advancement' really has to fight hard against the system, especially on commercial TV, so I suppose showing she can be flexible on the cross-promotion front is probably wise. I just don't see much opportunity for the career advancement she'd hoped for by making the move. Perhaps, it's merely the case of keeping on screen long enough to be headhunted by another station needing an experienced presenter.
