On Aug 01, I wrote: Get rid of Baretta and get Mel on the Weekday Sunrise, even better more air time  Well there she is on Sunrise this morning. Not showing much but is a tight figure hugging green number  (Thanks only to Barettas skiing accident most likely though, what a shame   )

She looks really awkward on the couch. Just seems to have no personality. The others were all laughing and smiling and she just sorta sat there.

As good as Mel looks on camera, I would fully agree with your observation. Melanie is a fish out of water in that kind of interactive set-up. She's wooden and doesn't offer a lot. Honestly, she has always just been a fairly average on-air talent. She was never the best host/presenter when at Fox Sports for all those years yet has had a rather charmed rise to free-to-air prominence since.

Yeah I remember her on the big bash coverage and the olynpics. She seems to stutter and lose her words a lot when its unscripted.

Breakfast TV would be a whole new environment for her. She has a very dry sense of humour when you listen to her , will throw in in small quip now and again that would easily go unnoticed .
Besides she's probably sitting there thinking what a dick Kochie is ...............
