Karen comes to Sydney Weekender with almost 18 years of experience in the television industry and over 6000 hours in live TV.

You may recognise her face from The Morning Show on Channel 7 where she has featured as a daily contributor for the past 5 years.

Although born and raised in country Queensland, Karen has called Sydney home for the past 18 years. “I am thrilled to part of such an incredible program that showcases the best this state has to offer. Whatever your budget, whatever your tastes, Sydney Weekender has it all”, she says.

Karen is also a highly sought-after MC working on corporate and charity events.

She is also a tutor at the prestigious NIDA and AFTRS, where she teaches both ‘Presenting to Camera’ and ‘TV Presenting’ courses.

She considers herself a bit of a tomboy and has a black belt in Karate. Karen’s also a fully qualified hairdresser and make-up artist.

She is also a proud mother of 3 boys aged 6, 10 and 14.
