Over to 7 then with Uncle Richard for their racing coverage next year and one can but hope to Weekend Sunrise to replace that idiot Tobin.

turns out her contract was up at the end of the month, and ch9 decided not to renew,
So I reckon it's her lot making alot of noise, plays the 'so unfair' card and gets a better gig .

I couldn't quite grasp the recent outrage over Emma's demise at 9. Her contract was up and 9 didn't extend it. Happens in the sporting world all the time. She is quite promising but not an exceptional talent so 9 made a decision that suited them. She is a bit coarse but good enough, young enough and cute enough in a teenybopper way - like a poor man's Edwina Bartholomew - so she will bounce back quickly. There is a place for her on Australian mainstream TV. If Emma was added to the panel of Studio 54, it should be at the expense of Jessica Rowe who really is a dill and quite unwatchable. Though I am sure she is a nice lady when not on the air. But on TV when not reading from an autocue doing the news, she's a complete lightweight. Hilderbrand is OK as the token bloke component. But overall the show is still rubbish as there is nothing compelling about it - and it lacks sexiness.
