I mean in what I previously posted that she has a fuller figure NOW compared to when she was on neighbours.

Oh NOW. Well she does look better than how she looked on Neighbours thats for sure.

I think the sexiness of mid 2000's Neighbours compared to recent times has been overstated. Ashleigh Brewer, Olympia Valance, Eve Morey and Kate Kendal have all appeared "topless" in the last couple of years. Olympia seems to be in a bikini every other episode, Saskia Hampele has worn a bikini at least four times and revealing lingerie on multiple occassions, Jenna Rosenow does stay covered up a fair bit but has worn a few sexy outfits (the meter maid episode comes to mind). Jordy and Valentina might not have hit the pool much but they sported their fair share of tight/revealing clothes in their time on the show...

What it really comes down to is your personal preferences and how attractive you've found the cast during the different periods.

I havent felt highly of the female cast for a long time personally. Obviously attractiveness is subjective based on a persons preferences. I just havent been feeling the females on this show for a long time. To me a lot of them are just get a big eh! from me. Im sure that my words will cause someone to freak out.

It depends on what you mean by "a long time". Early 2007 was about the peak, if you ask me. Kylie and Annie Jones did almost nothing for me and there's probably a lot that I've forgotten or have past me by for various reasons. The character the actresses were written with can have a positive or negative effect. Stephanie Macintosh was nothing like Sky Mangel in real life and Brooke Satchwell's appeal diminished as soon as she bitched back at Andrew Denton one Logies night. Kym Valentine was so fresh faced when she started but stayed on too long and kind of ruined the mystique. Rachel Blakely was better on The Lost World than on Neighbours... etc.


My experience of Neighbours was that the 'mullet' era was fun to hate and the post-mullet, pre-Kennedy era is a blur that I probably didn't watch a lot of. It took Libby's arrival to get me into the tradition of the 'Neighbours babe' and it pretty much died when Eliza Taylor left. I don't think it's PC to be blatantly sexy these days. The casting people and producers probably subconsciously avoid it.

Well I would agree that early 2007 is the peak and since then the overall quality has been quite low aside from a few. I can't comment on the 80s or 90s I was either not born or too young during that era so anything about that come in retrospect from me. 2003-2007 was pretty consitant with its quality in terms of the females on the show. Once the revamp happened thats when things started to go downhill IMO and they got a little to conservative with how the female characters were presented which has since gotten even more conservative but I guess with a G rating they can only do so much.

Yeah, I'm showing my age a bit and I am probably a bit old for this kind of thing but it sure beats checking out the conservatively dressed frumpies on the morning shows/news broadcasts.

Well even by current Neighbours standards it beats the hell out of newsreaders
