'She will not be returning to Home And Away,' the spokesperson insisted.
Bec, 30, stepped out of the spotlight in 2005 after wedding Australian tennis star Lleyton Hewitt, and ever since, she's been sitting court side or tending to their three children.
On Monday, Woman's Day reported that a 'family friend' had claimed Bec would reprise the role she played from 1998 to 2005 - the only career she's ever know.
They told the magazine that she was slated to make her comeback 18 months ago, expecting Lleyton to retire, but when that didn't happen she had to put it off.
'Hayley is coming back after a decade as an older beauty with great character and impeccable morals - and sparks fly with a younger man,' their insider claimed.
The magazine also reported that her return would cost the show's producers at least $500,000.
When she left the long running soap, her character continued on, being played by red-headed actress Ella Scott Lynch.
Bec and Lleyton have three children, daughters Mia, nine, and Ava four, and a six-year-old son Cruz.

She should lay off the fake tan or the sunbeds as it is making her look alot older than she is.

I wish she'd make up her mind what colour she wants her hair to be - so confusing! She's going to end up looking like an old Walnut by the time she's 40 at this rate.
