What's coming up for Karl and Susan as they reach their 20th year of living on Ramsay Street?

Jackie: Well, there's a lovely story where their son Malcolm comes back to visit, and he actually wants Karl and Susan to go and live in London with him! So they go on a little trip down memory lane with people giving them reasons to go and reasons to stay - there are lots of lovely flashbacks and nice memories. We got to see some really old footage, and it was scary thinking this has been 20 years of my life!

Did you and Alan Fletcher [Karl] do anything to mark 20 years of working together on the Neighbours set?

Jackie: Yes we did! Alan turned up with red roses and French champagne, and I got him a limited edition bottle of wine from 1994, which was the year that we started shooting together. My relationship with Fletch is one of the most important in my life, and in his too. We have the sort of love, trust and connection that you would have in a marriage - but without questioning whose turn it is to put the dustbins out!

What's the nicest piece of Neighbours fan mail you've ever been sent?

Jackie: I've had the most incredible gifts from people over the years. Recently, Fletch and I were both sent a book full of screen stills of us, looking back over the past 20 years. I can't imagine how long it must have taken the girl in question to make it, as it was so beautifully put together. I will treasure it forever. On the other hand, I occasionally get sent strange things like pairs of socks!
