On my old WIN XP desktop I used http://www.streamtransport.com/, and it worked on Yahoo7. I now have a Windows 8 Laptop, and haven't installed Stream Transport and tried it so don't know if it still works. Go on narles, you can test it for us all to see it it still works, don't forget to let us all know how it goes...

I downloaded it and installed (which, sorry to say, was a pain in the arse - with all the other things it wanted to install, homepage resetting, etc). I tried a Yahoo vid, but no luck. Mind you, I have numerous Privacy uitlities, and one of those could be the problem. Also, in order to install Strean Transport, it required me to install iLivid, which may have affected my Flash installation. At the moment, no Yahoo video will even play in a regular browser. (This was not the case previously.) I am running Win 7 and have tried with Firefox, IE11, and Chrome. So far, other sites (e.g. Youtube) don't seem to be affected; I can download and playback the vid. I'll keep trying for a couple of days.
