If she's not single, there's going to be one big discussion later... If it was spontaneous, how is that not (sexual) assault? Seems to be a perception that because he's a celebrity he can get away with it and it's a laugh. If I suddenly kissed a hot chick in a pub i'd get slapped, then have my teeth and half a litre of my own blood handed to me in a ziplock on my way out

Seems it's his 'thing', regardless of the fact that it impacts another person in a very intimate way. Maybe he has herpes (a cold sore), passes it to Carrie without her knowing. As a TV front-person, that can have an impact on her image.

I suspect it was cleared with producers first. No way he was going to just do that and hope that she doesn't mind.
