Been to 30+ countries around the world, and have no desire to go to Bali (or Indonesia at all), even though my father was born there... Problem with Bali is that it's full of the worst kind of Australians...bogans on holidays with cheap alcohol and an attitude that because they are in a foreign country, apparently laws don't apply to them. Anyone caught with drugs into\out of Bali should be given mandatory life sentence with no parole. Maybe Kyle's lost a few kegs due to Bali belly

Been to plenty of countries and Bali six times. Have friends living there and stay with them usually and never got ill. Problem is people ignore the simple guides. Drink bottled water, avoid ice in drinks, and don't buy food on the streets. Basically - eat at the hotels. Some still get sick but it's unusual. It's like any country - no different and you just think, eat and drink smart. First time I went though (with my ex-wife) she got Bali belly. Projectile crap all over the bathroom (high, low, everywhere you go).. Shitty Shitty Bang Bang.. hahaa. Was pretty gross.
