Interesting you raise the aspect of other salaries on the show; Koch is very successful in his own right, he should be moved on. What Sunrise fails to do is find it's market. If it's the under 40's family types, then get two people that relate to this market. Sam is not a mother, so seems awkward in this space - although, Sam, call me, i'm prepared to assist in any way I can Koch is too old for the market, and let's face it, is a bit of a dick. Today show has the market because they are the market (although Lisa Wilkinson needs "new opportunities" as she has outgrown the market). The 50+ ladies and gents are ideal for current affairs, news and special report interviews, where their experience is valuable. 35-50 is ideal for discussion, panels and light entertainment 25-35 for reporters and youth programming

I give Samantha a year in this job max before they find someone fit to stand in the shadow of Mel. I also find it funny in all this petty bitching that noone seems to be interested in the pay of any of the other team apart from Mel. Very sad times for Mel fans indeed... her and Nat were the only reason to watch the show. If Nat leaves, god help Australian TV.

From News.com.au "Seven bosses were said to have opted for a "sexier" look after research indicated Doyle, 43, was wearing thin with some audiences." I think they must have misread their research or forgotten about previous flights . . . it's Koch who's one of Australia's most disliked personalities, not Doyle. Here's the article: http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/ce ... 6677343063

I agree mate, the show is just not the same without MEL. As a much older person I miss her happy manner. I also miss her pics here, even though she has been on , there havent been too many pics but I hate to ask as I feel I am pressuring the guys.
So thanks to all those who do post her pics I very much appreciate them.
It seems Sam is being careful on her dress protocol with the pants being her for now preferred option
