It's a very emotive piece isn't it. Sounds fabricated to grab headlines and part of it could be true. I just don't understand why though? There's been quite a solid reaction from people when you look at her facebook page, messages receiving far more likes than you'd expect from a departing Lisa Wilkinson or maybe even Kochie, because I swear no one actually likes him.
I think she has been interested in leaving for a while but Channel 7 have had no role for her to take over so she decided to take pay cut for a regular sleeping pattern. That was my assumption anyway.

Sounds good spazzenger. We will probably never know the whole of it but that would be my take on it as well. Mel has been complaining about the hours ever since her first kid and has often muted she would be interested in a daytime TV gig outside Sunrise.

All the articles im reading are saying she was pushed. Not happy with out come but sammy has been a refreshing change

Nobody surveyed me on the subject of whether Melissa Doyle wasn't sexy enough. So I''ll say it here -
I'd race Melissa Doyle off to the nearest 5-star hotel bedroom nearest to the Ch 7 Martin Place studio, if presented wih half an opportunity to do so.

I feel very sorry for her that people have jumped down her throat over all this garbage. I can't watch Sunrise anymore without Mel, it's just not right. I give Samantha a year in this job max before they find someone fit to stand in the shadow of Mel. I also find it funny in all this petty bitching that noone seems to be interested in the pay of any of the other team apart from Mel. Very sad times for Mel fans indeed...
