Quote: stuff.co.nz LATEST: A crew member has been killed after Swedish America's Cup challenger Artermis Racing capsized their massive catamaran while training on San Francisco Bay.
Support boats rushed to the scene but were unable to revive the injured crew member after he was taken to shore.
There were 12 crew on the boat when it capsized.
Artemis have New Zealand America's Cup veteran Craig Monk as a grinder on their crew and three other Kiwis, Sean Clarkson (wing trimmer), Andrew McLean (grinder), Phil Jameson (pit) in their first-choice team.
Aerial footage showed the crashed boat with one of its two red hulls buckled and the massive wingsail, still connected, but floating alongside.
It's the second major accident in the leadup to this year's America's Cup following cup-holder Oracle destroying their first AC72 in a "pitch-pole" capsize last October.
Artemis have had previous problems, damaging a wingsail when they were launching their first boat.
They have also had major design proble RIP & condolences to Artemis

America's Cup. Well, PRADA Cup; which is the "qualifying" prequel to the America's Cup. I reckon this is the best race so far: England vs Italy. What do you think 8'z? Who's going to take on the Kiwis?
