Thanks Macc, I think the extended version of Love to Love You deserves a mention.

I lost my virginity to this song (well, to my right hand, at least :P )

(Just Audio)

Nail biting stuff! Who will win? The relentless progression of the Treadmill, or the persistence of the Slinky? I was on the edge of my seat for the entire video!

Thought I'd post it here so more people could see it, not just viewers of the Aleisha McCormack thread.
Who knows, if Oz gets a Lingerie Football League it might end up on the box... :ohyes:

So, you think you are an independent thinker?
You have control of your own thought processes, right?

Then watch this video, the whole way through.

For the record, I don't think this about "scientology brainwashing", and there is no suggestion in the video to make such a connection. (But, maybe there was, and I didn't pick it up  )

Nevertheless, a brilliant piece of Theatre, I'd like to watch the whole show.

Thought I'd post it here, instead of starting a Richard Clapton thread just for 1 clip....

Acoustic Cover of Toto: Africa - Very well done.

I can play the chords (not the same way as these guys), but the challenge is singing like these guys.
The song is all about the singing: If you can't do the singing, then the song is just not the same. Unfortunately, my singing is something akin to cats fighting.

Ah, this would be the alternate version I've heard about so many times over the years. Looks like the legendary Tommy Cooper's taken over the role from Arthur Lowe (two more sad losses).

I liked the original "silent" version. I think the absence of dialogue is what made it so clever & unique. I remember when it was first shown, a little deaf girl wrote a letter to the BBC thanking them for the funniest thirty minutes she's ever had. Very sweet. I imagine Eric would've been quite touched by that.
