Sadly, Kym will not be returning to Neighbours.

Quote: KYM VALENTINE STILL BATTLING REAL-LIFE DRAMAS
by Fiona Byrne, 10th September 2011
Popular actor Kym Valentine is highly unlikely to return to the family drama Neighbours.
Valentine, who plays Libby Kennedy on the show, has been battling personal and health issues since deciding to step away from the show in March.
She had treatment in a private Melbourne hospital for a depressive illness and has been on leave from the show since. Sources said this week it was unlikely the fan favourite would return.
It is understood her Neighbours contract expires early next month. At the time of her decision to take leave for health reasons, the show's executive producer, Susan Bower, said Valentine had the support of the production and they were looking forward to her return.
"We wish her all the best with her recovery and we'll continue to provide support where appropriate," Bower said in April.
Valentine has had a horror run of health issues in recent years, including pneumonia and a collapsed lung. Her manager did not return calls yesterday.

I guess this means, barring miracles, that she is unlikely to return to a career in TV or the stage again. I hope she can find peace and lay her demons to rest as she still has so much life ahead of her.
Good luck and thank you.

I think it's significant that Kym's manager was not answering any calls. To me, this shows that the rumours she has left the show are true. If it was Kym's choice then i am surprised. She's a single mum and nees to work, and after being associated with Neighbours for so long it she could find it difficult to find another role on TV in Australia.

She can come and live with me, and won't have to work another day in her life. Just be a stay-at-home mother, and wonderful wife.
