Thanks for posting these Mr Walker, I assume you live in QLD.

I have cousins in Brisbane; thankfully they are all ok, but the coverage of the devastation in QLD is mind-boggling! :dizzy:

Have heaps more pics, will post them when I can. My house was away from the floodwater, but a mate of mine wasn't so lucky. I will be going around to help him out today.

It heartens me so much to see the queues of people from around Australia volunteering to help out in Qld, so much so they are catering for 6000 but will get far more than that.

Addendum:
Just heard from a friend in Brisbane who is livid at the amount of sightseers who are driving into the area, big grins on their faces, cameras in hand and icy poles for the kids. They are clogging up the just opened roads and are hindering the down and dirty clean-up effort the volunteers are doing.

Both sides of the human coin for you.

I did hear the XXXX brewery was affected by flooding, not from the river but from sewers backing up. That should improve the taste of the beer.

On a serious note I was quite sickened to hear that 10 people had been arrested for looting. The worst kind of human scum.
