Sounds like we've got some great eps coming up between now and the 6000th ep. Hopefully the show's ratings will pick up as a result.

Heya Denny, its a shame they ran the show down & did not ..still not really promoting it, as the current eps & standards are among the highest yet, storylines improving and finally allowing characters to shine & bond with rather than sensation & smoke.

Hi 8''tz I've been reading rumours that the show might be moved to a later time slot or even axed because of the low ratings. They've got some brilliant actors/actresses in the cast and it's a great shame that some of them have been underused this year. As you say it's such a shame that they have run the show down. You would think that they would be pulling out all the stops with the promotion of the show as it's in it's 25th year and the 6000th episode is coming up.

I really hope that they're not planning to axe the show. There's a lot of loyal fans out there who would really miss it.

is the show still doing ok in the UK ? the ugly part seemed to be way too much moolah being paid( to freemantle) to grab it from the beeb & not enough being put back into the show.

From what I've read the ratings have been picking up a bit recently over here in the UK which is good. Hopefully it will continue if the storylines improve coming up to the 6000th ep.

It's great to see some publicity for the anniversary/6000th ep. I think Neighbours is going to be featured on Thursdays edition of the 7pm Project.
