Sophie Monk gets a bruisingSOPHIE Monk has been showing off the bruises she sustained in a car accident in LA last week. Monk was not at her glamorous best at the weekend in low-slung trackie-daks which revealed two well bruised hips - one of the injuries sustained when Monk's Prius collided with a Ford Explorer which cut across her path on LA's La Brea Avenue.
She also suffered a broken L2 vertebrate in her back and a fractured foot in the crash.
She now has her foot strapped and seems not to care that she can't get out of the way of photographers - she has been photographed in a wheelchair, on crutches, in tears and now with bruises on show.
"You don't look cute when you're in pain," she said, perhaps as an apology for her grey trackie.
Monk told 2DayFM's breakfast team afterwards: "It is the worst accident I've ever been in. Everything was hurtin' like anythin'."
The fire brigade attended the scene and Monk was in tears after the accident.
She has been told that as a consequence of her back injury she will be shorter than her usual 170cm in future.
