I've tried everything but it still says that the site is unavailable This is now a third known occurrence of this problem happening to TPG customers so I am guessing none of the TPG customers are able to get to the site. Can you guys try visiting http://forums.auscelebs.net/ directly, rather than going to www site and let us know if it works? I find it very strange that http://forums.auscelebs.net/ would be redirected to the old www when forums.auscelebs.net host name did not even exist before the move. If it still doesn't work, something very weird is going on at TPG. Yep I'm with TPG and can't access the site. I'm going through an anonymous proxy (wich isn't a solution and is extremely slow) just to reply here. Even if you enter http://forums.auscelebs.net/ directly into any browser (tried them all) you get the following: 404 Not Found The requested URL / was not found on this server. Apache/1.3.41 Ben-SSL/1.60 Server at forums.auscelebs.net Port 80 Funnily enough you can still get the main site of http://forums.auscelebs.net/ but the forum link gives you a "404 Not Found" also. Maybe the forum owner needs to contact TPG, because TPG users can't see the forum. I've tried but got nowhere. I suppose you still see the blog on http://forums.auscelebs.net? If so you're still on the old server. I will modify it as well to stop this confusion... EDIT: TGP customers now should see the explanation of problem instead of that old blog that was previously there.

While we are working to resolve the problem, TPG customers can use the following trick to bypass the problem with their ISP's DNS. The following entries need to be added to your computer's "hosts" file: Code: 207.210.101.4 forums.auscelebs.net 207.210.101.4 www.auscelebs.net Windows users will find the file in C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts Linux users will find it in /etc/hosts Mac users will find it in /private/etc/hosts This will allow you to access the site without needing to use TPG's DNS servers. For general information on "hosts" file, read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hosts_file

If the problem is because of the ISP's DNS servers, a possible solution may be to run your own DNS server on your computer. For years I've been running TreeWalk DNS on my system, and never had a problem with it, it's FREE and available here - http://ntcanuck.com/It automatically configures itself upon set up and makes all the necessary changes to your computers network settings etc etc. If your worried about what it might do to your system, just set a 'Restore' point before using it. For people running a Mac or Linux I wouldn't have a clue

Yeah, we have confirmed that at least iinet, extel and hotmail users don't recieve our mails We prolly inherited this from the former owner of this IP address. We know how serious is that, not only because these are quiet large mail providers but it also prevents those people from registering here. They can view the content unregistered, but it's pretty fucked anyway. Things are moving though, we should have most of problematic mail providers sorted in several days.
