Yeah, I know. I was one of them.
If a club badly in need of improvement gets a coach who after four years being there has not made any improvement (apart from the first year) as to how their season ends I think it's only natural that a lot of people would feel dissatisfaction.
What tore it for me was halfway through the year when, after another thrashing, he told the media & the supporters to expect them to see them lose some more games which I think was a pretty outrageous thing for a coach to say (especially one who after four years had not made any progress).
However, the next came they came out guns a blazing so clearly the statement was a ruse which we all bought & fell for. A brilliant move on his part & I found a whole new respect for him then. But, having said all that, if 2009 just turned out to be another 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008 then, yeah, my dissatisfaction would ensue.
EDIT: I don't think Monster's quite ready to let go of his scepticism just yet but.
