Elle Macpherson has become Mischa Barton's new best friend ... inadvertently.
While you would think the former O.C. star's almost two-week stint in rehab would have Ashton Kutcher and the other producers of The Beautiful Life worried, it's actually Elle Macpherson's acting chops that is a concern.
According to the New York Daily News, sources onset of the upcoming TV show, which will be aired locally on Ten next year, claim Macpherson is helping take the heat off Barton's breakdown, with studio execs calling in acting coaches to try to improve her craft.
The former [color=#FF40FF]supermodel- , who plays an ageing supermodel-turned-model-agent, is reportedly struggling to adjust to being in front of the camera - something she hasn't done in almost 10 years.[/color]
