This new board seems far more "lurker oriented" than the old, at least the page views go up, so one knows something is going on . The other extreme seems to be pot after post of diatribe or abuse ..so we never really see much of a ballance online, me thinks.

Ecnal: It's about time for me to ask you a simple question. Since you have some of the best AOS footage there is, exactly why is it that you aren't sharing it with the rest of us?

Anyway, give me a few hours, and I'll put some new stuff up. I have other things to do right now.

Hey guys! I thought you might like this one. I found this near complete AOS episode from 1987 tacked on the end of an old VHS tape. The quality isn't 100% but definitely worth a look. This episode features a very young June Jones wearing a lovely pink ensemble We also see Shannon Dolan looking fantastic along with Robin Lambourne. Note : June's playfulness with the cameraman and the terrific camera work

Silversky2, that looks like a great episode, but to be brutally honest, the file size is Horrendous.

1.6 GB for 25 minutes of footage is quite frankly, ridiculous. I'm almost tempted to not bother downloading it.....

AOS Dave, I did encode this to other formats but the quality was woeful! so i decided to leave it as is. I thought you guys would prefer a better quality vid even at the sacrifice of mb.

that may be true.....but since i don't have a rapidshare premium account, it's going to take me about 15-20 hours to download all of this. At the end of the day, I have limited hard disk space, and I have to create and edit my own AOS material to share with others, so I'll have to re-encode this episode (which will take more time) or cut large parts of it out to save space. Have you tried the h.264 codec? that's what I personally use, it's the best codec there is for high motion video, bar none.

I sincerely hope it's worth the effort.....

AOS Dave, you did say nobody else is posting any new stuff didn't you? All i can do is put it out there for you guys, it's up to you what you do with it. I think you will be pleasantly surprised anyway.

I have now downloaded it, and it's a nice clip, I'm amazed, it's the earliest AOS footage I've ever seen.
But, the file size is pretty staggering, most people aren't Rapidshare premium members and probably won't bother going to the trouble of downloading it.
I'm about to hit the hay, so I'll give the computer the job of reprocessing it overnight to see if I can get it down to a reasonable file size without sacrificing quality too much, if it's ok when I have a look at it in morning I'll upload it, I think a lot of people would really enjoy this clip.
