THERE are no clouds on the horizon for Channel 9 weather presenter Livinia Nixon, who is expecting her first child.
The sunny presenter and her husband, Alistair Jack, are thrilled with the pending arrival of their bundle of joy.
The baby is due in January.
"We're delighted to announce that next year will be very exciting for us as we're having a baby!" Nixon said yesterday. "As I get bigger, I'll try not to cover too much of the weather maps.
"Once Adelaide can't be seen, then I'll know it's time to go home and put my feet up!"
Nixon and Jack wed in far north Queensland in April, after becoming engaged in December.
Nixon is expected to continue with her role as part of the Nine News team until late into her pregnancy.
Nine newsreader Peter Hitchener last night congratulated Nixon on her happy news at the end of the bulletin.
