Soon the screen will be half covered in headlines and weather forecasts and segments titles like sunrise  . I don't understand why the Australian media is like this. Sunrise, weekend sunrise and the morning show have so many babes yet we see hardly anything of them because the setup. I hope Leila keeps up the way shes been in the past couple of weeks. If only the media over here had the same mentality as Fox news, not in what they preach but how they show off their women. Or GMTV and BBC in the UK. Why are our shows so conservative? When will they realize that these babes have a giant potential to bring in a massive male audience?

 Proudly Australian: A great chunk of Nine is owned by CVC Capital Partners based in Luxembourg and if the media laws would allow it they would sell a majority of Nine to CVC. The great majority of the programs are American and apart from two expensive shows, Underbelly and Sea Patrol, the rest of the Australian content is done as cheap as possible to meet the Australian content and children's programming regulation, which they would love to ditch so as to have all cheap foreign content. Most of their main news comes from overseas sources as they outsource journalism to save money. The same is true for the other commercial stations but "Proudly Australian" should be "Proudly Australian for the most part but not at all if we could get our way."
