Hafner began her media career at three months when she appeared in an advertisement for baby milk. Hafner also starred for many years in the children's program The Book Place[1] and on Seven Adelaide's lifestyle program Discover. However she is best known for working as a weather presenter for the South Australia's Seven News and later the Sydney bulletin of Seven News.
Hafner joined Seven News Sydney in April 2003.[2] Hafner presented the weekday weather on Seven News's 6pm Sydney and Canberra bulletin until her final appearance on the 22nd of December 2006. Nuala left to work overseas, and is currently filing reports from Seven's London Bureau. In 2008, she has taken a more active role in the network, appearing regularly on Sunrise, Weekend Sunrise, and the now cancelled Seven HD show, The NightCap.
Nuala's broad range of interests and endeavours make her a popular public speaker, presenter and MC with a long and varied list of engagements ranging from official government ceremonies, to corporate events for companies such as Coca Cola, The Body Shop and Telstra, to charity events and youth workshops.
In 1998, the year 2000 and again in 2002 Nuala was awarded a Clear Speech Award by Better Hearing Australia and was also part of the "Discover" team to win a SA Tourism Award in 2001. She has been a Mentor for "Youth Plus" a Ministerial Council for young South Australians and a National Youth Week Ambassador.

She's actually got some great curves, but you rarely get to see it, either becuase they don't show her body that much on Sunrise, or she doesn't wear clothes that accentuate her body shape. There's some recent posts in the Melissa Doyle thread that show what a great body Nuala has
