i gotta say
fantastic new site guys
fuckin’ brilliant :peace:
thank you czblack, wolverine, bluey & atefooterz
& all the other admins, mods & supporters :salut:

i thought aussiecelebs was unbeatable
but auscelebs is now the greatest web site in all the universes
& it just goes to show how auscelebs is much more than just wicked content
it’s a great community that’s a lot of fun to be a part of

& it’s nice to see guys who were previously thankers & fans
seizing the opportunity to contribute to restoring what has disappeared

a great example of that “never lay down, defeated” Aussie spirit
:thumright:

Not sure if this is a bug or what but I've found that you can delete other people's uploaded pics if you go to reply to their post it gives you the option to remove them. I came accross this because i accidentally deleted some caps. I was trying to reply to a post and thought by pushing remove all i would stop them from being quoted in my reply but instead it deleted them from the original post :?: I didn't think you would be able to do that. Anyway i've told the poster whos caps I deleted and i've learnt my lesson, but i just wasn't sure if it was meant to happen like that.

Ouch, that was pretty critical bug :yikes: It's a bit of a luck that no hacker actually used it. It's fixed now, thanks for the feedback & karma+ for you...

The first phase of forums' merging is now finished. It was based on the long term popularity (~ post counts) and I'm not finished yet :-) Another endangered forums are "Cinema & Blockbuster Movies" and I could possibly merge male and female TV stars, but at this point I wanna give it some more time. Feel free to post any comments/ideas/etc...

Let's be a bit careful about merging male and female TV stars. They've always been separated, in all incarnations of the forums in previous years. I personally never visit male tv stars forum and would find it an unwanted distraction if they were all together.

Also, even though this is primarily a celebs website, general chat and sports have found their way higher in the list of forums. I personally would prefer something along those lines:

Quote:
SITE INFO
- Site Admins and Moderators - VIP Access Only
- Site Suggestions, Announcements & Rules

OZ CELEBS
- Female TV Stars
- Male TV Stars
- Movie & Stage Actors and Actresses
- Models
- News & Media Presenters
- Music Solo Artists & Bands

GENERAL
- General Chat
- Sports Chat
- TV Shows
- Cinema & Blockbuster Movies

Male & Femail Celebs need separate areas. It does not make sense to merge them :x

What I don't get is why it was deemed necessary to have the "Movie & Stage Actors and Actresses". I don't see what in there can't be put in the celebrity forums. Having this separation only seems to confuse members & create work for mods...

We also need a section for female politicians, like Julia Gillard, Julie Bishop and Kate Ellis etc etc...
