Can do my belt up 3 extra notches now but on the down side my pants are all too big now. I think I can cope with that :mrhappy: :mrhappy:

Had lunch with my old (75yo) golfing mate today at “Billy Baxters”, had a turkey and salad role and a Diet coke. Had to ask the girl to put half of it in a doggie bag and had the rest for tea. Bloody $9 just for the role but my mate paid for it to my surprise. Then went to a golf shop and I got a new set or clubs as I had to sell my old ones a long time ago when I had no money. I was intending just to buy a few secondhand clubs and seen a new set for $200. So my mate said he would pay for them I tried to not accept the offer. But as I was looking at some old clubs my mate said lets go. As he was driving I said ok as we left he picked up the set of new clubs and said take them as he had paid for them. I was wrapped, I tell ya you rarely find true mates like the one I have. So I will now be playing golf again a couple of times a week   I haven’t played for about 4 years. So now some more exercise and gets me out of the house. Thank god for true mates that expects nothing in return.

Whoa, where did you find a mate like that? I want one!

Nah, there is obviously no altruistic people my age because they realise the world is fucked, and we are probably the last generation that will die of natural causes. Keep up the good work, however in the past month I have added on 3 kgs and most of it is to my guts, so I better start hittin the gym again! :D

I am smoking (Cigarettes) like a bloody train now it’s my only vice. Want badly to give them up as well but one thing at a time.

Last year my wife started hanging around with a new group, and they go out partying together, she has taken up smoking again, she gave it up 15 years ago.

I think she is pretty silly for letting that monkey back on her back! Absolutely everyone I know whom smokes (apart from her) is dead set adamant they want to give it up, they just cant escape its clutches!
