God that was a relief thought I wouldn’t lose any thing this week. Put in the hard yards in the last three days. Now only 9 – 14 to go god dam it, starting to get much harder now. Have come this far now. Don’t want to lose all the great work I have done. I am very happy with this result.

Well done Bluey! Yes we have a significant investment now, gotta see it through!

Dunno about you, but I am feeling healthier, my breathing is definately better than it was (original reason the quack told me to lose weight), and I seem to have more energy, I am not looking for cofee or tea to "perk me up" by the afternoon anymore.

People are starting to say they are noticing I have lost weight! very good for the motivation!

I have to confess again I had a home made Pizza last night. Went down the shops yesterday then just about spewed my guts up. Raced outside then to the Men’s room but couldn’t bring up a thing. Felt light headed and thought I was going to have another “panic attack”, haven’t had one for awhile thank god. Felt sick all day and not too flash today either. I think it is because I am starving myself way too fast. Not going to be so hard on myself from now on. After all we were aiming not to lose so mush in a short period of time. Think I will eat a bit more but still nowhere much as I was and still eat the right foods and exercise. Will have about 3 decent meals a week EG: pork chop, ham, cheese and so on. No good making myself sick again. That is my story for the week.

Did you wash your hands before you made the pizza?

Yeah me too Bluey, I am making sure I have at least one "normal day" a week, where I eat normally, but not excessively, it is helping me. I get cravings if I dont have enough of the right foods, the problem is your body knows it wants / needs something (must be certain vitamins, fat or even protein), it would be easy if you new what, but unfortunately you just want to eat anything and everything!

Took my oldest son and his 3 mates (9 year olds) to see the new Star wars today, bought em all soft drink and pop corn, unfortunately while the medics were trying to revive me from the shock I went into after getting the bill ($9 bucks each for a serve of popcorn and a coke, plus $9 bucks each for the movie), the little horrors snuck into the lollie section, and topped up with $5 worth of lollies each, that apparently my wife had agreed to with their mothers, as "incidental money" in case they wanted something else. So I had to sit through a 2½ hour movie listening and smelling them chomp their way through all that lot!

Then after the movie they wanted Macca's, so I showed restraint and had a big mac with diet softdrink, but it was hard - no chips!

In a last ditch effort did 30mins on the old ex-bike today and clocked up 10.12km. Then went and had a pork chop and veggies for tea  Had some fish in the fridge but the last lot tasted like rubber. Just can’t wait for tomorrow. I hope you have been behaving yourself Pyscrow. I also booked an appointment with a Doctor to have a full checkup on Friday. As my cholesterol was way up and my (don’t know the name of it but it was 10 time higher than normal) was up because of my alcohol consumption. Now been off it for 22 weeks. Good luck for tomorrow mate :mrhappy:

31/5/05.........98.5........0.5..........11.0...........104.0...............4.5

Working tonight, (worked today to) so will hopefully be in bed pushing up zeds at normal weigh in time, until tomorrow evening, so did the deed tonight.

Pretty happy with the 0.5 loss, specially as it is an evening weighing!

Had a check up just before I started the diet (the main reason I am on the diet), my cholesterol was elevated, but only just outside the "happy" range. My big problem is my asthma, it has been out of control since christmas time, whilst I am breathing easier, it is mostly from the weight loss, no asthma meds seam to working for me currently, or in a very limited fashion. I suspect I have COPD, (Chronic Obstructive Pulminary Disease), which is a fancy term for asthma like symptoms for life, (IE never goes away, rather than just episodes), related to my work. (Fat chance I'll have ever proving it though!)

I am supposed to go back to the quack around my birthday (6 weeks or so) for another check up, hopefully I will be another 5 or so kilo's lighter by then!

Well done again matey :mrhappy: Sorry to hear about you condition tho but as long as it is a bit better is a good sign. I am smoking (Cigarettes) like a bloody train now it’s my only vice. Want badly to give them up as well but one thing at a time. Gave up the grog first then losing weight now next is to give up smoking. Probably when I have lost all the weight I want, can only do one thing at a time.
