Okay, I'm just wondering which smart phones people here use; what plan they're on & what they pay & get...

Thanks again, Danny. I'm afraid I didn't understand a word of it as it seems I'm even more ignorant when it comes to that particular form of technology than I thought...

Any Telstra shop should help you . Allthough I think the cheapest now is $20 a month , but ask the question. I had the same plan for years .I think I first got my deal from the Telstra dealer at Ingle Farm shopping centre and added the data pack when i got the new phone ( i purchase my own phone outright ). I know I get free SMS , not sure on calls , I'll have to check the paper work. I have the 1GB a month data pack , I find this is plenty . http://www.telstra.com.au/mobile-phones/data-packs/ .
