The people on it are either at the end/peak of their career and just looking to earn a living treading water [Ryan Moloney] or are starting out and will take anything as a step forward [Emerald Chan]. She either took on other projects as soon as Neighbours was originally cancelled and so can't make the contracts synch or she thinks she has better offers on the horizon and is willing to take the chance that anything that comes up will be better than Neighbours on Amazon's free platform anyway. Do a search to find out what else she is doing and what side hustles she has going. That will indicate where her thinking was at. It will also give you an idea of what the industry thinks of her as an actress.
