Hey- I just stumbled across this forum, and thought I would join to get rid of the annoying window that kept popping up. I'm from northern California, so I don't know too many Australian celebs. Therefore I don't know if I can contribute much. But so far it's a fun read, with lots of lovelies to check out. Thanks for allowing me to join.

Greetings I am Cassini I have been mainly on UK and USA boards over the years but would like to join in with captures on the Australian board. I am looking to add UK TV Screen Captures and I would like a few Screen Capture and Video Artists to join my international board. One of my fellow artist has health problems and he used to do a lot of Australian and New Zealand captures for me would appreciate a few artists on my site. Regards Cassini

Hi!)) I came to Australia with inspiration and found it pretty quickly. For me here is an unusual, quite comfortable atmosphere. I learned a lot and already finished writing the first part of my first book. I hope to publish my full book soon. In the meantime, I would like to print https://eurekaprinting.com.au/products/books/ the first part of it in order to send it to some editors.

Hey Pug here. This forum looks amazing. One thing that has always puzzled me is why still caps rather than short 10 sec vids. I'm sure I'm missing something as to why, as the level of interest would be through the roof if they were vids.

Videos are a different story. There are many types of codecs, containers, extensions and types of video, only small number of which are supported by browsers. It means forum would have to do transcoding to make it compatible but there is always a risk of losing quality in the process. Not to mention videos take a lot more space which is expensive to host in a data centre. There are no ads to generate revenue, only donations so we are limited by the amount we can spend on hosting.
