Going off topic, but i rarely get cap card interfearance by house hold appliances (fridge opening, washing machine etc).
My Achilles-heel is basically using the auto carving knife (when slicing roast etc), or when lawn mowers or whipper-snippers are used here or by the neighbours.

Household glitches are usually poor earthing , like the dodgey rental i live in, washing machine is about 3metres away from pc with timber wall separating.
