That's not Indiana Evans on twitter, manager says ACTRESS Indiana Evans' manager has branded as fake a Twitter site posting a stream of comments purportedly from Evans linking the former Home And Away starlet to the Lincoln Lewis sex tape scandal.
Danny Zargoridis yesterday slammed the Tweets posted under "IndianaEvans". Evans is Lewis's former long-term girlfriend.
"She doesn't have a Twitter site or a Facebook page or MySpace page, it was not her," said Zargoridis, who acknowledged he had not sighted the Tweets attributed to Evans before calling Confidential.
By late afternoon the site was shut down.
The Tweets were posted from early Sunday. On day one the Tweets stated: "All the Home And Away sex tape stuff affects me too, he is my ex! He didn't do anything wrong guys!"
Later the writer suggested: "Everyone should mind their own business. Everyone makes mistakes."
A search of the genesis of the site reveals it was opened on May 20 but was shut down after Zargoridis contacted Twitter headquarters and told them the site was being run by someone impersonating Evans.
There were suggestions the page was being operated from outside Australia as the dates logged were inconsistent with local time.
Coincidentally, Evans returned from a trip to the US only this week.
argoridis would not comment, when asked, on whether Evans was the woman on the sex tape, which was filmed on Lewis's phone and shown to some of his colleagues about a year ago. It had since been deleted.
Twitter is currently defending itself in a lawsuit brought the St Louis Cardinals baseball team manager Tony La Russa, who claims to have been the victim of identity theft.
Yesterday it introduced a way of clamping down on "brand-jacking" by introducing verified accounts.
