Im halfway through Stargate Atlantis series 1.

Quite good. I was disappointed though that there doesnt seem to be much chance of any "ancients" existing anymore.

Basically episode 1 had this explanation that they met with a race they couldnt destroy, they retreated to Atlantis and were eventually starved out and the remaining had to return to earth where they educated the various cultures before therotetically being wiped out by the Gould ?

Yeah Carter needs to do some work on sexing herself up. Growing the hair might be a start.

Like Star Trek sometimes the guests are quite hot.

In fact they had T'Pol [Joelene Blalock] off Enterprise playing Queen of the Amazon Jaffars [spelling?].

She didn't look as hot as usual [clothes weren't as flattering].

Also I noticed her Vulcan impression which I thot was her acting skills is in fact her entire repetoire. Her Stargate character was pretty much exactly the same as her Enterprise character.

Unfortunatly I think that the writers are going back to the bad old days of the 60's when it was the US v the universe and the US always won.Their is very little science and a lot of fiction

No way! Jeri Ryan looks pretty manky next to T'Pol. She's all big hipped busty matronly type [perhaps u like that z? ].
T'Pol is all slim and sleek and toned. Check her when they use any excuse to get her half naked in Enterprise [should be more of it]. Or check out some of her shoots she's done.
Hot hot hot. Hottest Star Trek babe in any series ever. Including guests.
