OK. So we're both now looking forward to 2010.  I think both Adelaide and my team (Pies) have a lot of improvement in them. Can't say the same for Geelong, Stkilda & Bulldogs. So hopefully we'll be having this banter again same time next year.

Tyson Edwards has just retired and will not play for the Crows again, not even a farewell game, that with the retirement of Simon Goodwin at the end of the year starts to raise eyebrows. My sources tell me that there amy be 2 more within the week to pull the plug and one will be a huge shock

Yup... Here comes yet another year where, after a half a dozen game losing streak, we have one significant win over some below average Victorian side & all the Craigophiles in the media & around office coolers will spend the whole week saying what an exciting game it was & what a master strategist the "football scientist" is so, come September, we can all reflect on what was another interesting & significant year it was for Adelaide after we finished somewhere in the middle of the premiership table!
Is that about right?
One of the other things that disappoints me about Adelaide is that, even when they're winning, they're just not a very exciting side to watch. They've just perfected a really bland form of football...
