Congratulations to the bunnies for demolishing the sharks tonight. They played with a lot of heart & showed how skillful they can be with a bit of confidence. I wish that all the 'fans' who marched for them to be reinstated would go out to the games though

Greg BIRD, you are a f***ing disgrace

Thanks Natboy. 10 years between drinks :!: Greg Bird deserves the book thrown at him, that sort of crap went out when Les Boyd and his sort left the game and Michael Sullivan's not much better. They are not good losers. Marteene got his own back I suppose. Luke MacDougall had a ripper hey. Report said 11,000 fans. (At least they behave :P , sorry natboy, just kiddin' ) Maybe we might make the top eight this year, hope so. I think a few teams will take us seriously anyway, it'll make a change from the last few. Go you Bunnies :drunk:

NB,agree on both counts - it is fantastic to see Souths win, and Greg Bird is an absolute dog.

A question - is Adam McDougall the buy of the season?

Sorry guys. Haven't had a chance to reply. No way would be want Greg Bird. He's going to cop a hammering when he comes back believe me.
There is no current Sharks players I would want. We learnt the hard way with Brett Howland

What do you guys think is a suitable punishment for bird brain??

The McDougall brothers will go well today. Newcastle would be regretting their decision to release him with all their injury problems and the way he is playing.

I would guess he would be lucky to receive less than 6 weeks in this day and age of tribunal leniency. If they give him "bringing the game into disrepute" he is likely to received substantially higher. I wouldnt be surprised if the sharks impose their own penalty as well.

He won't be getting 15 months like my Dad's good mate Bob Cooper!
I hope he gets about 10 weeks & a big fine from the Sharks

I wouldn't argue with that.

Ahh, I remember Bob Cooper and Lee Pomfret - that was not unacceptable - he was a St.George player afterall

That wasn't that dirty. It was a fist fight. Kneeing someone in the head like that is a different story!
