Thanks for the caps.

Wild Oats ARE the team to beat aren't they?

The start of the Sydney to Hobart is about the only reason I get out of bed on Boxing Day.

That, and leftovers from Christmas Day

That was a bit spooky, ates. When the music started it sounded a lot like the intro to a song from your part of the world featuring a bloke in Brussels full of muscles!!

Weymouth is ramping up nicely for the Olympics in '12 - and it's only an hour's drive! Guess there might be a few of your fellers around then? A nice Georgian town with some of the best fish and chip shops in the country.
Get yer ass over here!!

My fave bit in those parts was actually close by .. Chitchester Yacht Club , great peeps & food

Unlike Jessicas adventure the "Abbet Saga" was always doomed & even with a sign ..1st stop & an omen 2nd stop in Capetown they pushed her back out into the winter chills of the Indian Ocean. Like many mountaineers who get towards Mt Everest when the weather closes in the savvy ones retrreat & go back to finish the climb, some push on and do not make anything but body bag headlines .. this young lass was VERY lucky ..or all that right wing christian stuff was enough to "Angel her through it.

Read from the plans & comments to the i told you so`s here ( unmoderated so a bit of waffle)START

but some mighty experienced dudes giving expert commentary & very accurate crystral ball predictions! ( notably ) Bermuda Solo, Solosailor & Estar, all experienced & Estar hit it on the head saying how he was surprised how they were pushing hard .. the day before ... leap in here http://forums.sailinganarchy.com/index. ... 89&st=1950
