I am a big Formula 1 fan and wanted to start a thread to chat about the sport. Whether you are a longtime follower or new to F1, I would love to hear your thoughts on your favorite teams, drivers, and predictions for the championship. If you have been to any F1 races, feel free to share tips for attending live. Looking forward to hearing from fellow F1 fans!

Been a F1 fan since the 80s. Always a fan of the Aussies especially Ricciardo but since he's no longer driving I'll follow Piastri. Doohan has been royally screwed by Alpine by them recruiting Colapinto as a reserve driver after the fact. I can't see Doohan lasting the 6 races they are judging them on. Colapinto reminds me of Sargeant and/or Grosjean. It will be an interesting season with all the driver team changes.

The pressure on Doohan would be immense right from the very first race and I hope he has some good performances at the start of the season to secure his seat for the entire season. Overall, it is going to be a very interesting season fo sure.

Went to quali yesterday. Was really good! Today looks like it’ll be wild.

Such a heart break for Oscar, he was on the cusp of overtaking Norris. Not a good start to the year but he will come back stronger. Kid is made of some stern stuff.
I'm keen to go to an F1 race later this year or next. Has anyone been anywhere other than Melbourne, any advice?
