G'day guys. I've been following this thread since day 1 and have got to say "Well Done". As someone who is 1.83 m and 103kg, I am in the obese category as far as BMI goes. However, I am (without sounding full of shit) pretty muscular and reasonably fit - I am a central umpire for aussie rules and do two games back to back each Saturday for a total of 2.5 hours.
My doctor estimated that I could lose no more than 10 kg last time I had a checkup. The moral of my story is that the BMI is basically a crock of shit. It doesn't have any credibility at all as far as I'm concerned. I have read somewhere that Glenn Archer of the (AFL) Kangaroos has a BMI of 32.
Anyway, congratulations on your success so far and good luck.

Tanita Bodyfat Scales. $180 I paid about 4 years ago. Probably $100 or less by now. They go to .2kgs though. Newer models do .1kgs.
Almost all scales will vary - just need to be consistent. ie weight your self on the same scales at the same time.

Thanks mate!
Yeah BMI is a crock - I am the same weight now as I was when 15 years ago playing football, 3 hours a night in the gym, less than 5% body fat (I did some muscle comps) except then my chest was 4" bigger and my gut 8" smaller, my thighs about 4" bigger each - but same BMI.

Another bit of boring news. Went and bought a “Ronson Pro Duo Food Processor” (See pic below if interested) for $89.95 at Harris Scarfe’s discounted by $60 (Looked it up on the net first to see what the RRP really was and it was $169) yesterday. As the money I am saving on food paid for it in a fortnight (Another good thing about this diet). I have always wanted one but never got around to getting one. I wanted it to make coleslaws and other salad dishes also to make iced coffee and smoothies and much more. So I found out some of the drinks have to have ICECREAM in them, now to get to the reason of this post (At Long Last). Went food shopping and checked out the ICECREAM section, then seen this ICECREAM that had 97% fat free (I jumped for joy) so checked out the fat content and it was 2.8 per 100gm. Compared to 13% of normal ICECREAM, so grabbed some straight away. Won’t go berserk with it just a bit here and there. So there you go that is my boring story for this week

Well we know who is the boss in your house
I can’t afford that fancy Pepsi max, I go for the LA MAXI Ice Cola

I cant abide that LA Ice stuff, it has the same flavour as a medicine I took for years as a kid for chronic bronchitus.
I reckon I only got the Pepsi coz "she who must be obeyed"was feeling guilty about the Charity do and the outfit!

Hey Pyscrow I will put those programs on the Filegrabber today, so you can just get them off there. Might be the easiest way of getting them to you, if you sill don’t get them I will mail you them. Not much in the way of exercise this week again but still sticking to the diet. Bit worried about weigh in day tomorrow Have to see what happens
