DELTA Goodrem reveals she was asked to be a judge on The X Factor, but said no because she wanted to "be a hermit".
Goodrem revealed she was not Born To Try her hand at being one of the four mentors for the Channel 7 blockbuster.
"Heard the reports: I was asked to be on X Factor before it ever started in Australia, but declined as my focus and love is to make music," she tweeted yesterday.
When asked by fans when they'd see her next, she said: " I like to go into a little shell and be a hermit and make music for a while."
Goodrem was touted as a possible addition to the judging panel after Kyle Sandilands publicly announced he would not return to the show earlier this week.
Channel 7 will weigh up a total reshuffle of the panel, which last series included Guy Sebastian, Ronan Keating and Natalie Imbruglia

Maybe shell be more the focal point rather than Brians girlfriend.
Yes shes releasing an album later this year but since she and Brian have been a couple, shes never really done anything and he is the one that is always talked about.
We will see if he stays in OZ or moves back to Ireland.
