I can foresee a couple of problems for her in this move to sky/politics
Yes she’s hot as hell, but….

1 she isn’t as popular as she might think she is

2 she isn’t as smart as she thinks she is.

And if her opinions are anything like her father’s she’s an aresehole too.

I reckon her real ugly side will come out on Sky After Dark. She hasn't got the thickest of skins (see her whinging over social media that made her mate Scomo change the laws in a half-arsed way), just wait til the likes of FriendlyJordies stick the boot in. She'll be begging Nine to take her back, even if it means working with Joey.

The writing was on the wall for some time that her time at 9 was coming to an end and either they'd tell her that her services were no longer required or they'd only offer her rookie pay and shit jobs.

One thing for sure is she needs to toughen up re social media trolls or people who disagree with her opinions.

Come on the ratings sucked on 9 viewers made it clear they didn't want her hosting anything
Footy show collapsed with her taking over 20 to 1 or whatever it was failed Sunday Footyshow was doing badly.. writing was on the wall it's better for the code and 9 she moves on..

Isn't she still in an active lawsuit for allegedly being a racist? Maybe add that as #4. Actually, now that I think about it, Erin might be just the right person for Sky News.

I don't think Erin's a particularly fantastic talent at all - but that whole racist episode was a storm in a teacup, a woke cancel culture beat-up as they usually are where the offenderati mob tries to then destroy someone for a minor transgression. It was just stupid, footy community on air casual banter with a few meathead ex players which was regrettable. Not even sure why that's a court case.

Her radio show with Dave Hughes doesn't rate. She was clearly on the nose at Channel 9 and was demoted from a prominent role in their footy coverage. I think she was only offered the sports report on the weekend news. So she's not box office gold in any area.

Her dad's a Liberal senator so politically you wouldn't expect the apple to fall far from the tree. But good luck to her.
