Nine have more on contract sports folks than newsreaders, and huge losses that are gaining more interest than new income to clear debt.

Ates probably right. Wouldn't surprise that as soon as nine's hierarchy found out that she was engaged to an overseas person that they gave her a bit of a push , knowing that she would probably leave anyway.
