If you're just enlarging them in Photoshop or similar and reducing noise, don't bother - the quality degrades.
Simply a bigger image is not necessarily better. Unless the original image is a vector, .psd, .tif etc. which are scaleable image formats.
A lot of the time people post the Instagram display image, which is standardised by Instagram.
There are some tricks to getting the image in it's original size,
viewtopic.php?f=117&t=19471I used the script, works great, and grabs the image in it's original (and therefore optimal quality) size.
