Cute girl, would look even cuter without the oppressive rag on her head

I was a bit worried about posting pictures of a Muslim woman on this website, more for the backlash she might receive from other Muslims as well as criticism from non-muslims. The reason I did post was that I reason that different forms of beauty should be celebrated. I understand your broader political view and even agree with it in general, but I don't think this is the place for it. I also generally keep in mind that if the any subject was to google herself and find my post then she shouldn't be overly offended by it, and might even get a kick out of it. I don't know what Mahnaz thinks about the hijab in general but your comment about her "oppressive rag" would be hurtful I think. Can't we just be grateful that she has shared her beauty with us? EDIT: I feel a need to clear up what I meant when I said that I agreed with the broader political view. I do believe in the basic principle that no one should be told what to wear (or not to wear) by cultural elders, politicians or by individuals like me. But, above all, personal choice has to be presumed and respected. Let me also say that I reckon Mahnaz rocks the hijab

All the rhetoric aside she's been off our screens for quite a while (I remember she was doing a lot of crosses on news breakfast during covid). Has she been away? Answered my own question...
